hay guy I need your help I like to get this boat up an running so what size motor and esc do I need to get up 45mph thanks

That boat will run best on 8S or 10S if 45 mph is the goal. The higher the voltage the lower the amps and the longer the run time will be. Component choice will depend on your budget.

For a 10S budget setup:
Leopard 5692/540 Kv; Swordfish 240HV; Octura x462 - 43-45 mph

For an 8S budget setup:
Leopard 5692/740 Kv; Swordfish 240HV; Octura x462 - 43-45 mph

For an 8S higher quality setup:
Castle 2028; Castle Hydra ICE 200HV; Octura x462 - 45 mph

You can prop up any of the above for a bit more speed with a corresponding reduction in run time (or you can go to 10S on the 8S setups above and with a smaller prop go 10 mph faster). From here you can go to a Neu 2215 and a Schulze controller, but for a 45 mph goal you do not need such premium components.
