8Xl, 4s1p, 440/3 blade prop. Fast & stable. A few of us run/ran this setup. This from a guy at our club.

    Cheers.

I used the 11L from Feigao on 4S1P, turning a 637 prop. Ran about 45mph, and was super stable. The motor was a bit hot though, so a Leopard 3660 will probably do better.

Go with a 4 pole motor, maybe a Keda that OSE carries. I think one of em is around 2300 kv. That will rock in that boat!

              What kv is the 4074?

Do you have any props yet? A x442 would be a good start.

I think an x442 is a big start with a ~2400kv motor. I'd go with an x438 or x437/3 to start with if it were me.

I put a 4074 in mine but it never hit the water. Lots of motor and little room.

If I was to do it again i would go with one of the 36 sized Leopards or Tacons.

Agreed, a 3660 is TONS of motor for the little hull.

Not me. 442 minimum. We are talking a 4074 here... trust me a x442 isnt going to be a problem. Guys have been running big power like this in these hulls for a while now and it has proven itself a stable runner. The extra weight is actually a big help in keeping it stable at these speeds.

                          I ran a 38mm prop in one on 3s with a Feigao L can.

Here is Jesse's. 1515 on 6s with a 42 mm prop... She can handle it!

It's still a 25" hull though, unless it's 4s2p I don't think it's going to be *that* heavy with the 4074 so it'll be really flighty.
