hello from a newbie and question

    hello,
I'm Fred, I'm 40, I live in Belgium, and I'm in RC since only 2 years. I began with Heli, and finally come to car (I have a summit).
My parent in law live near sea (french bretagne), so I'm looking for a boat able to go on sea (not with big waves! smooth one) and of course on lake, and electric one (4, 5, 6S...), fully water proof (hull, esc, servo). I'm not research very high speed. I prefer catamaran, seems to be more stable
I see the proboat miss geico seems to be a good boat, very stable. the minimum size is almost 800mm and maximum almost 1000mm.
I see too the genesis from HK, but seems that availability is uncertain

I'm open to any solution: RTR, construct one (not the hull)
about budget, not fix yet but around $500 - $700

    thanks in advance

    Fred

You could build one using the mean machine cat hull, very stable. Its a great learning experience and is fun and rewarding. You can get the Hull, hardware/electronics right here on OSE. I would recommend running a Leopard 4074 2200kv on 4s.

NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=
