CAD DWG help

Can anyone here manipulate dwg files? I converted a boat plan from PDF to DWG, then tried to make mild modifications to the file but autoCAD LI 2012 is so complicated.

Can anyone help please? I will PM the file and detals of what I'd like.

It all depends.

If its a PDF copy of something from paper good luck. Never going to happen.

Its its a PDF created directly from a CAD software without further modifications and the scale is true, it is doable.

Have you figured this out yet, I use acad daily and its not that difficult once you've done it once or twice

Get online & down load the draught sight 2D cad program for free. Its cad drawing for us dummies & its pretty easy to use. It also has the user manual you can download as well & has a step by step tutorial. I have been using it for nearly 2 years.

Draft Sight Lite is basically autocad from dassault systems, frontend is nearly identical. It's a good software for free, who buys autocad these days anyways so it was good that they did that.

I can make a dwg file for you as long as you have the dimensions.

Actually you don't have to buy these programs, I am fortunate to have access to Auto-Cad and other cad programs but there are torrents you can get for just about any program you want if you want it bad enough and don't want to pay.

Failed to mention Free Source programs also, I use 2 different free source programs Sail-cut and Freeship for specific needs
