    Mean Machine rudder length?

    G'dday

I am using the below Speedmaster 21 rudder (6.25 inches) for my Aeromarine Mean Machine.

    http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...=ros-21-rudder

While the boat goes great, and turn fines I do sometimes feel that the rudder might be too long and causes a lot of drag. The rudder also kinda look long for the hull size.....

What are your thoughts? Should I cut the rudder a little bit like 1/2 inch? Or should I just leave things as they are?

    Thanks

A half inch is good. Any more could cause her to spin out.

Run it first. Mine liked the full length.

I ran it with that rudder and it runs great....

I'm just thinking that if I cut the rudder it might run better with less drag Just trying to fine tuning.....

However I'm concerned if I cut it there is no going back LOL

        Thanks
