I am having issues with keeping the grease in the stuffing tube... As the flex shaft turns it forces the grease down the stuffing w/liner, and it comes out where the stuffing tube enters the strut. On the bench even after a few blips of the throttle grease is coming out and the stuffing tube starts to warm up... is that normal? Seems like the flex shaft is too good of a fit in the liner and it acts more like a pump...pumping all the grease out... Can I ditch the liner? Will that create any problems? Also where the stuffing tube enters the strut is where the grease is leaking out, is it ok to seal this area to keep the grease in? The stuffing tube is fully engaged in the strut, its just not a tight fit.
Ultimately I keep getting water in through the stuffing tube when all the grease is gone, and that's not even 1 full run cycle... Annoying!!
Help!...
