    Need twin cat setup help

Just ordered a daytona 37 and twin hardware. I also have 2 Scorpion 3026 1600kv outrunners. Planning on running 5-6 cells for each motor. I need any advice and suggestions on the esc's, props, batteries and anything else you might think of. Still kinda new to FE boating and brand new to twin FE so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Benjamin ( The person that sells those) has a lot of information on his web page and hes really helpful. I have the 32" version.

ESC a good choice that' reasonable is the Hobbywing Seaking 180 pick a programming card for the speed controls
6s for batteries with the motors you have will work good
I started with 442 you might want to get a set of 442's and a set of 447's

Just a starting point others will chime in best of luck to you.

Thanks. I've looked on the site and others and im just having a hard time figuring out which esc to pull the trigger on. Turnigy, hobbywing, etti or castle. Is dasboata.com a good place to look for sanded/balanced props for this application? Thanks again

Hobbywing, Turningy are all the same and a pretty good choice, Etti and Castle are good too just more money I went with hobbywing for my first one because if I smoked it by smoke I wouldn't feel so bad and so far its a good ESC and I will by the 180A ones for my next build. dasaboat is a dead link for me so I don't know but here is a link
to a good article on how to do it http://www.rcraceboat.com/Propguide1.html

Well Steve (Site owner)use to have them http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...Balanced+Props but hes out and if you look at one timea member under unique services provided by members on this forum use to do it but I think hes taking a break. So right now I'm not sure where you could find em
balanced and polished, it's not that hard to do it yourself though.

          dasboata is good for props.
If you use T180's, get external Rx battery.
SF esc are also great,, OSE has 120A, 200A and 240HV
Whatever your motor draws max.. get an esc that is running<75% at max rated motor A draw.. makes them both last longer with stable feeds.
Hardware... whatever you're knowledgeable on.. dont try to reinvent the wheel.. plenty of tried and proven setups.

          best of luck !

Lockk thanks so much for the advice. I think your right with the affordable hobbywing cause i just might make some! I hope not though! Thanks for the article on prop work. I s/b and detounged my 42x55 for my sv27, but without a gps its hard to really tell how much of an effect it made and if i did it perfect. with this build i wanted to have different props that i was sure were spot on.
Drwayne thank you as well for your insight. is it better to run a external RX pack or a BEC with those ESC's? I saw your post on the props you recieved from dasboata and sent him an email but havn't heard back yet. Reinventing the wheel has crossed my mind but is definetley not gonna happen on this build though. gonna keep it clean and simple. thanks again
