Pheonix Hv 110 or Hydra 240

for the apache build i need two new escs. I'm goin to be runnin twenty cells through each. the motors will be kb45 10 turns. I planned on using two hydra 240's but some people have said twenty cells will not be good for them. Now i'm looking at the pheonix's but are their amp ratings high enough to supply power to the motors without frying. I also like the watercooled and waterproffness of the hydras.

somone want to give me an answer

Yes i do think 20 cells is to much for that hydra series.
You can look into the HV110 phoenix
but also look into the hydra HV 120 or 180. they will do good as well. Just have to wait for them to come out

Drop your cell count. Run KB8XLs on 4s each with the hydra 240s. Just a thought.

Schulze's are more expensive, so whats the point ?
this is a cheaper alternative for those people who need a 40,160
of course Schulze has come back at castle introducing the 40,300 LOL gona have to get me self one of them

any how. all you really need is a hydra HV 120 or 180. when you increase the voltage your amps go down a bit so you should not really be pulling that many amps in comparison to a 12 cell setup

To find atr what % the selling price is lower then the retail. go to view OSE's price on the hydra and then go to castle and view there price

Drop to 18cells each and run the Hydra's... Just prop it right, too make up for the 2 lost cells?? Just an idea...
Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

hmm..... so many options. Proball shouldn't buy the esc's till the waters open. don't want void warrentys before they are ever even used
