    Stuffing a Traxxas Spartan

This is why I do not like ABS boats.

One of our club members was running his and it stuffed right in front of him coming down the front
    straight today at the lake.

you can see, it did not survive.

We all agreed that ABS is not the way to go when it comes to speed and stuffing...........

Over powered? yeah, could say that. CC1520 on 6S.
possibly an ok boat on original power plant for fun running.

Is he going to try and repair it? NOPE

Carl, is that Ray's nephew's boat? What a shame........

        How'd your boats run today?

no, that is Joe Yangs boat.
stuffed it on the front straight right in front of us.

The twin mono is back going great. running different motors courtesy of fightercat.
runs smoother and faster than with the T600 1400kv motors it had. still using outrunners tho. :-) LOVE 'EM!!!!

The Daytona runs great, ran after Tracy's 40 rigger a few times. he was impressed!!!!

have to work on prop walk on it. will shim the strut to the left to counter act it.

Joe had his new MHZ twin cat out for the first time. man that thing hauls freight!!!!

A new club member came out and got a bit of water time and was very impressed.

I hear ya Lockk, those things are ok for sport running on the minimum power recommended, but
they don't hold together worth junk when they stuff at greater speeds thats for sure.

one thing we found out on this hull is the hatch. no matter how much tape you use, there is ALWAYS
water getting inside the dang thing. the hatch, while it looks very nice, is junk for sealing.

Carl I can tell you I am very happy with the fightercat hull I have and basically in 3 hours I had it fixed will take me a bit of time to
sand and paint but no biggie. I ran the thing into a dock post at about 20mph!!

                    LOL good one Lockk.

yeah the fightercat hulls are very nice as you have found out.

he is a great person to deal with and really stands by his products.

am using the new 17S 200A HV ESC in mine and plan on boosting the voltage up after a while to see what
I can get out of the hull.
