By the way, just received my shipment from you today. Thanks.
I have the HK version and it is labeled 04-150 where as this is 04-142. The HK version with stock set up needs a new motor as they have a 3s one in it (4s gets too hot). HK do it for $142 then $50 shipping and you have to pay custom charges at your end around $40 I think. Then you need to buy a 180 esc $70+ Motor $76-94 +Mount $22. Although HK version does come with an aerial. Hope this helps

Appears the one from HK comes with a stinger where as OSE's comes with a strut.

I just got a pursuit in kit form from another vendor. It did in fact come with a 3/16" prop shaft and .150 cable. The drive dog was roll pined to the prop shaft. Never seen that before... Not sure if I like it either (well I know I dont!).

Sorry did not see aerial in pic. Steve does this pursuit come with a 1 or 2 piece flex cable?
Basstronics .150 cable, mine came with a 187. I dunno if the 150 can take the power of some motors. Is it a 1 Piece flex?

The flex and prop shaft are soldered, I can make out the joint.

Attached is a close up picture of it.100_7496.jpg

The OSE Pursuit comes with .187, 2 piece cable. I have 1 piece replacements. They are a drop in replacement with drive dog and soldered end for $29.95

thats a .150 cable from Ed Hughey. Did you get that boat from Kintec?
.150 cable wont last with the 4074 motor. I would replace it with .187 cable.

I got the boat kit from Fuller on Rum Runner FS forum.

Well good to know on the cable. I can order the right size stuff from OSE. Hahaha my weekly order :)

Ray may have changed the stock cable to Hughey.

Probably. I bought the hull just off a little info and just knowing hes been in Fast Electrics for a long time. I wanted something in a kit form to build it how I wanted it. I didnt want it to where I had to tear it apart and hope not to break anything.

At any rate I will probably be getting another list around to order soon.

so .187 cable. What about wire drive?

It does look like the .150 from Kintec. I don't get it if the boat comes with a.187 as stock why sell a .150 to put in it. I had the 2 piece flex cable but that wears bad where they connect. I got a 1 piece replacement now. Still haven't tested the KEDA motor yet.

because it looks like some of the boats have a 4mm drive setup, others have a 3/16.
Ihve recently bought a fair bit of 3/16 spares, and i think most the pics of the pursuit show a 4mm setup, 3/16 collets are a fair bit bigger than the 5 to 4 mm ones
