I made my Villain rig so I wouldn't have to use the inflatable any more it was too scary bringing in big boats with all the sharp edges. Maybe just hook a line to them and tow them in.

I saw a new trick with the tennis ball last weekend, my JAE .12 nitro boat had a switch issue and was out of control doing bigger and bigger circles getting closer to the rocks. Kevin had his fishing reel loaded with Spectra line instead of monofilament and threw the ball out to the middle of the circle it snagged the prop stalled the boat then reeled it in saving my boat.

I might still make my drag net project, but for now, a $20 boat will do the trick. Good thing I'm a good swimmer. lol

How about one of those plastic storage totes. Store the inflatable boat and its parts in it. Then when you go out on a rescue toss the tote in the boat with you to put the stranded boat into for the trip back to shore. Just be careful lifting the RC boat into it that you don't hit the inflatable boat.
