    m442, x445/3, x445R

I've been making the push with Octura for these new props.
m442, x445R and x445/3. I think it would really fill the gap for us electric guys. What do you think?

Sounds good to me especially the 445R

yeah, 445 is a good size and people running twins will like you for that.
might have to try the m442 if the TFL 42 doesn't work out.

We recently started our vintage and modern hydroplane 1/10 scale classes in our club the x445R would be a great addition.

Sounds like a VERY GOOD idea! The BEST prop I have found for mine (I have both vintage and Modern) is the Graupner K45L . Very similar to what an X445R would be. I sure would rather run a bronze prop!

Small center hub versions would be nice. I know Octura uses both a large hub and small. Seems smaller would be best.

Was looking at props and speed calcs last night would love to have 445/445R for my twin set up I'm afraid the 447s would pull to many amps.

Well these were suggestions to Octura. None of them are definite and all of them are probably several months from being done IIIIFFFF they decide to.

+1 sounds like a good one for the 1500kv proboat motor or pushing the limits on the AQ 1800 and 2030 kv motors. Should rip on the leopards and castles so many people are running too.

Why not a m445/3? or anything in between that size and the m 437/3

+1 on theX445R, the gap is to big from X442R to X447R, so would be great for Twin use!!

the x445/3 would fill a gap between the x440/3 and x447/3.

Right now the m435/3 is the only three blade they offer.
Whats really needed is m437/3, m440/3, m445/3 and m447/3. But we have to take baby steps.

i wanted to start a post on this many months ago but i chose not to stir the pot about not having enough prop choices from octura...people like choices..the twin market is growing because of speed chasing and the x445's is a great idea...more choices with the detongued m series would be awesome..i love the m645 but thats really as big as it gets in 1.6 pitch
