    Deep Vee 40"

Hello all. I have a 40" Deep Vee Prather from the late 80's my parents bought me when I was a kid. Just started working on last weekend
and I am wondering about going electric. Partly because I am not gonna race it, and do not have a lot of knowledge in regards to the nitro engines. Can this be done in electric without a lot of hassel? Not looking for a lot of speed but just looking for something to enjoy with my son. If anyone has some insight into where to start that would be great. all I have for the boat is the kit that came in the box...fiberglass hull and reinforcement pieces. Nothing else. Thanks much and have a good day.

I have a 1984 45" Dumas i recently converted to a more "scale" system. I now have a Leopard 4082 3y(1000kv) in it with a T180 ESC on 6s. Running an x445 it hits 34 mph and is perfect for the "look" i want as I have drivers and full interior, looks like a 22" Ski boat. This combo doesnt run hot and has been successful for me so it should work well in your 40".
