Deep Vee with twin motors setup?

    Hello again,
a friend of mine gave me a H&M cardiff as a present and i am thinking on making it twin motor.
But i dont know anything about setting up something like this.
First of all i want to know where i have to place the shafts,in single 3 to 5 mm up from the end of V,but in twin?
    Every advice is welcome.
    Regards to all.

I gave up to twin setup, and i am going to build it single. On cardiff specs i read that it can run good with a lmt 2250 or 2280 but i dont have the money to spent for these motors.I am looking for leopard 5692 or scorpion 4035 both on 6s lipo. And the question is leopard or scorpion?I am waiting for your answers.

Leos are strong, very strong. never used scorpions, but hear they are good. -what kind of speeds you are after? -I think that single 3740 or t600 outrunner could push it about 40mph easy and they are cheap.

Check my build thread and videos here on OSE forums , I have 58" hull with twin outrunners and I think that even one of these motors would be plenty of fun.. the cardiff is much smaller so it should be good with single motor.

I'd recommend the Leopard as a replacement for the Lehner. I like the Scorpion motors, but they are amp-limited to around 100 (over that just goes to heat), plus the choices are a bit low on rpm. I run a 4025/1100 on 6S and it powers my SprintCat 40/60 to the mid 40s for a fun sport setup.

That Cardiff is a pretty large boat (44") for 6S, the maker recommends 8S as the minimum. The 4035/1050 would work okay, but the 5692/3D Leopard will handle more amps and give more speed.

Thank you for your answers.I allready have a T600 on my cigarette and it is very powerfull(i have 3226 watts with 6s and speed around 45 knots),but i want something with more power than this!!!!!!.So i will go with leopard that gives up to 5500w pick power. The Gardiff is very light and i beleve that it will fly with that kind of motor .
