Anyone know what the SAW record is for a Sport 40 Hydro....like a Phil Thomas for example in FE ? And if so, is this an open class boat with any type motor and battery combo? Thanks

The current NAMBA Q Sport Hydro SAW record is 80.78 mph set with an H&M hull and Neu motor some years ago. The IMPBA Q Sport Hydro record is 76.37 mph set in 2009. This is the class the PT SS454 would fit in. You should read the new FE rules on the NAMBA site, but in brief summary:
Q Sport Hydro
- any legal sport hydro hull 40" max
- any number of motors
- nominal voltage 15.1 - 22.5 V
- total pack capacity 10,00 mAh
You could run the PT SS45 in T class too if you wanted. T allows 6S to 10S power.
