The 2075 is a torquey sucker............waterproof too. I use 2056's in 30" hulls or less.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

I have a 2075 I was debating using in my 1/10 scale thunderboat.
I was told it would work ok.
I would think the plastic gears would hold up fine not like your stressing them much with a small hull.

The 2075 is my favorite choice in hulls under 36". Its digital, got great torque and being waterproof is the icing on the cake. The plastic gears shouldnt worry you in smaller hulls. I have never heard of one strip out. There was a post on RC Universe a couple years ago about upgrading the plastic gears to metal, cant remember the topic name but basically you took gears out of a cheap chi servo and they were a drop in replacement. That is if you feel the need to bother.

I have been running mine in a Insane Hydro 30" at speeds up to 60mph for a year now with no problems.
