3/16 35-37mm dog drive GRP props to fit a 4mm stub
Looking for 3/16, 35-37mm 2 bladed GRP props with dog drive slots, which can fit on the 4mm stub i have that has the 3/16 dog drive adapter anyone know a supplier?
Going with GRP props first for testing once i get a decent setup i'll buy a decent bronze/beryllium prop.
I have some x35mm threaded props but the end of the stub is only threaded a short way (enough to take the bullet tip for the dog drive props) so when screwing on the prop at least 1/2" of the stub is showing with no support, so not sure if this will put undue pressure on the bearings in the strut as the prop is right on the tip, or is this how you guys run with these types of closed end props?
Or should I stop being a cheap ass and buy Octura x435 (for 4mm dog drive + adapter) and the x437 for 3/16 dog adaptor? I'm using a leopard 2860/4050 motor with 120a esc, just in-case any one suggested propping up to 40+ i think that would be way to much prop for the motor.
Suggestions/ suppliers etc appreciated.
