    07 to 08 Power

I was going through some old pictures and came across my battery pictures from last year. What a diffrence a year makes. I don't have a single one of this IB3600 packs left. I do wish I had held on to the a bit longer. I can remember saying I'd never be able to afford the lipo conversion or store them in the house. 10 months and a proper education later and here I am. Go figure Oh Yeah.... GOT PACKS??? lol.

Still have to buy 2 more sets of 4s-1p

Thanks for posting those pics. My wife is now convinced my TP1010 purchase wasn't so bad after all. Are those tackle boxes? Looks nice, neat, and organized man.

Yes, FE made a huge jimp from 07 to 08. Here are a few of the changes I have noticed.

      1. Speeds of the FE boats posted on this site has really jumped.

      2. The amount of rhetoric posted on this site has really increased. This may be the most active forum in the number of "FE posts" on the net? I think that is due to so many new boaters learning FE.

      3. The addition of the Blackjack and SV stock brushless boats has helped the interest in FE.

4.Lipo's/motors have started pulling some of the Nitro guys into Electrics. I was in Dallas yesterday at Mikes Hobby Shop and it is incredible how many electric car racers were there. A lot of these people used to run nitro.

5.Lower prices have helped the sport boaters run some really fast boats without breaking the bank.

Very astute observation Reddy I agree 100% all the way.

Are those tackle boxes? Looks nice, neat, and organized man.
Thanks Blake :). Yes thats a part of a four tear rack system with a handle on top. I used to take the whole thing to the lake but now I just pull the rack compartments out. It's great for storage. It was like 15 bucks @ walmart.

Ya Doby! Thank you. It is aiding me in the point I'm trying to make. a "toy" boat can be made fast for cheap. It's still no hobby quality boat, but it should still be fun & fast(er) than stock, none the less.

That's awesome, Diegoboy. Those things are super slow stock! lol

Thanks for the excellent battery storage idea, SJFE. lol I am now going to get a organizer like that.

I just ordered two matched 6 cell Eneg-G 4600 batteries which should be nice, but I think they will be my last NiMH battery purchase. LiPo just sounds too good! lol
