    Outfitting a P/Spec (LSH) Hull

Shortly I am going to be getting a new P/Spec (LSH) Hull. It is a prototype of a new kit coming out. Looking for help as to what gear to outfit it with.
It is a shovelnose Hydro going to use a BJ26 motor and a 4s lipo. and is 30in long and 14 wide
ESC will be a proboat 45 or 60
Here is what I have no clue of.
    1 Rudder (how big)
    2. Turn fin (How big and shape)
    3. Flex shaft .150?
    4. Props not a lot of money in the budget so only will be able to get a couple but which ones?

check out the Insane hardware. What speedo are you gonna run? prather 230 would give you lots of thrust with that motor. I've been wanting to try a x646/3 with that motor but you would have to watch amps and temps your first run to see if you could get away with it. An m445 would probably work well but it might not be enough. That's the prop i run with the ul1 motor and it is spinning more rpm. I am hitting 100 amp peaks though. the 642 would work OK but its not gonna get you to the 50 mph range that some of the p spec boats are hitting. I'll measure the rudder i have on my Vegas later if that will help you. Check out the speedmaster hardware on OSE, they have a description of what size hull they work best with.

Try the black GrimRacer fin for the UL-1.

Yes, and it seems a good size for hulls like this too. You may need to experiment on the depth of the fin to optimize speed and turning performance.

Is there a reason for using the low-KV BJ motor? I was never able to get over 50 mph with similar-sized hulls using the BJ26 motor without a prop-walk-inspiring wheel.
