        Klaus,
I have heard nothing yet and have been waiting for a response as well, Steven Vacaro who owns the site or OSE any way he sells the things and has stated that 4s no problem, and one other guy said he ran 5s, I personally ran 6s without disconnecting the red wire and found nothing in the instructions saying that should take place.

It seems to have gone very quiet out there !!!
          No word yet from Castle.
I might have to send a 'gentle' reminder over the weekend.

I would not run 5s or 6s with the red wire connected. You should disconnect the bec.

Klaus read what Steven Vacaro has to say just above your post, I did not see in the instructions that you needed to disconnect the red wire but I guess it is par for the course. disconnect the red wire and run 4s or lower that should save you some grief over not burning up your ESC.

the question in hand here is not the bec but if the warranty aplyes for 4 cells and above as it say in the manual that it dont.
i asked castle about that before i orderd a hydra 240 and the reply was that the warranty aplyed BUT G Doggett spoke to chastle about 1 month before and got the totaly oppasit anser so we kinda qurius to witch of the reply`s is the one we should use sinse it is nice to know if we have a warranty or not.
if you read here http://www.castlecreations.com/suppo...user_guide.pdf on page 5 you can clearly se that the manual say that there is no warranty.

It docent matter what anyone else tells you what matters when you try and get warrantied is what is written in black and white!!! so without further delay feast your eyes on this. I had two pdf's but you can go to castle creations.com yourself and look up the hydra info your self

Just had a reply back from Joe Ford at Castle stating that Bernie was incorrect in his reply to Klaus and that there is NO warranty on the Hydra 120 or 240 if using 4 or more Lipos as stated in the'fine print' of the instruction manual.
This is in spite of it being advertised as being suitable for up to 25 volts.
                                You have been warned !
