I run the 6S 5,000 mAH packs in my 6S mono and they perform well (especially for the price). my combination is ceratyinly competitive with other racers using Hyperion and Thunder Power cells. There's a few guys here (Australia) using them and they all seem to like them.

However, mine did swell slightly after only a few uses, and later the warning posted by Video200 was seen on their site. I emailed XPS about it and they said the swelling of mine was OK (very minor). But I will follow their recommendation and see how they go.

I normally use Thunderpower, and have had their 30C cells swell (as did others in our club). But my 45C and 65C Thunders have been brilliant, but the cost is a LOT more than the XPS cells.

I have seen them and used the 4s packs.
Nothing in a hot setup because the packs were not mine. Mate ran hot setup and pushed them in his boats and they went well.

For the price they are fantastic.
I would have grabbed some but i got a better offer for some cells.
Got a chance to try some Entropy lipos. Should be good.

        Regards
        Dave

is it normal that batteries cant\shouldent be fully charged for more then a few hours ? the warning on exstreme power system battery page.
"WARNING!! LIPO BATTERIES CAN NOT BE STORED IN A CHARGED STATE FOR MORE THAN A FEW HOURS OR THEY WILL BEGIN TO SWELL. STORE ALL LIPOS AT NO MORE THAN 3.75v PER CELL."
This is extreme BS. I normally charge my LiPos the night before a race, no problems at all for years. I have stored them for over a week at full charge, when checked they were at 98%. Most LiPo vendors recommend storing between 3.8 and 3.9 volts. Based on those ignorant comments I would be leary of purchasing LiPos from them.
