I agree.... a little harder on the eyes here as well. Maybe a text background color change would help?

Got to agree it is harder on the eyes, is it me or are the fonts smaller or perhaps the color choice just makes it look that way?

That's a strange place for it. If I were Steven, and wanted to sell stuff, I'd want it prominently on the very front page...first item...not at the bottom where we are not used to looking for it. Just a thought. The home page is a strange mixture of widgets and weird news items. Not sure what they have to do with model boats? Maybe the home page is still a work in progress?

Please give it some time. there are a bunch of things I need to change and tweak. I haven't had a pc since 7am this morning, and this pc isnt my normal one. So once I get my pc back from the evil malware thats infested it, I'll be working on the forum stuff.

I would prefer to have the old format back. Too much visual activity going on for a chat/text type site for me.

Sorry Alan, its here to stay. Lots of new stuff. Video site integration is the largest one for me. youtube vids are much easier posted and shown on the site. Not to mention at some point the old site is not going to be supported by vb any longer.

I don't understand what you mean by wheres the store, I have the OSE home bookmarked, and go through there for forums
A customer won't be going to the forums unless they have or want to make an account.

If you click home what happens?
I get a "you do not have permission to access this page" message.

I got to home page earlier, but here's what it says now

"Make-a-Wake, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1.Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."
