    COG for mono hulls

Where should the COG be for a mono hull? I am stripping down and rebuilding a shockwave26, with fiberglass, gonna be running on 4s with the stock blackjack system. I need to know where to place the motor and all that good stuff.

    cheers.

30% percent from the transom is a good place to start.

sweet, thanks for the reply. So motor placement doesn't really matter right? The batteries can be used to set the position right?

Yes ... but I like to place all the heavy stuff in the boat and get it close before it's all nailed down.

That way you can use the batteries to go from 28% - 32% depending on water conditions.
