Where was the package going? If it's the Phoenix area, I have had trouble to and from Phoenix for many years. Their postal system there is terrible!! I've had less problems sending to Russia, Dubai, Singapore, Romania, you name it.
The package was going from Denver to PA. I simultaneously sent out a Hydra to Ben, FighterCat57 and Tanasit. The week before I sent a big box of goodies to RCBidder and he got his stuff ok. Ben got the Hydra and Tanasit still hasn't received his motor. I'm going to refund Tanasit and deal with USPS on my own accord.

I've shipped many items over the years and never had an issue like this. I'm now thankful that this wasn't a 500$ package or I'd go postal =)

Tanasit, as you and I have discussed, I'll refund the money for the motor and deal with this on my end. That poor little NEU is out there all alone in a big world with no boat to power. poor little fella' (trying to find the humor in it I guess)

I always ship via UPS. It may be a few bucks more but it is worth every dollar for the peace of mind. The pkg gets scanned at every location and the tracking info is always correct. I have had too many encounters where the USPS tracking isnt even updated until well after the pkg is delivered. And there are usually no lines when I go to ship

I don't recall ever using UPS but I think it may be a good option moving forward.

I won't use UPS because not only are they rediculously more expensive, they are slower and seem to be able to break everything they touch.
