Last night I bought a used Aeromarine mean machine.
Then I went to Herb Stewarts place and picked up a couple of tunnel hulls to build.
One tunnel is a 40 size hull, the other a 20 size hull. I plan to use the a 2s setup in the 20 and a 4s in the 40.
I have a couple of questions.
For the mean meachine, what is going to be the best way to seal the hatch?
I ran the boat today after throwing in my stock BJ motor and speed control. I was actually surprised by how well it ran. I say a best of 32.5 and managed to blow it over with a strong gust of wind. I was using electrical tape to seal that hatch, and needless to say that didn't work to well. I was running one of my buddies grim racer props just so I could get it in the water for now.
What is going to be a good motor/esc set up for this hull?
As far as my tunnel hulls go, I need some help with those as well. I quess I am concerned more on what class I can race the boats in. I have not had much luck finding info on the classes for these boats yet.
