    Tfl outboard leg

    Hi Guy's ,

Has anybody used , or have heard of the new " TFL OUTBOARD LEG " , just wondering about its performance & quality characteristics for my current project ?? . It's attached to a fairly new freaky looking tunnel boat , which should also be evaluated .....

There is a LOT of metal in the water on that thing. Looks chunky... Also looks like they started with an O.S. Lower for the basic design...

I'd, personally, want something with less mass in the water below the prop-centerline...

is it me or that tunnel looks huge compared to a Stiletto/VS-1/TS?

          Interesting though...

Either the motor is dinky or the boat is gigantic.

              Hi Guy's ,

Considering most desirable tunnels mass produced are also coming out of China , it would great if TFL took a closer look at what makes for a better hydro - dynamic design & the quality of such builds . TFL & other manufacturers in China would have a bigger share of the World R/C Boating market if they considered their product more thoughtfully , although have done a fair job with the Genisis & its predesessor .....

                  Thanks Scoota ,

Will be buying one in a few months , currently halfway through build . In the meantime i'll be considering which one to buy , currently think of the OS unit Steve sells here on OSE.COM ....

I just got some of the those outboard legs. Then seem quiet nice. They should be on the site soon. I was waiting on cables, but I may just list them without them first.

Steve, is it similar in size to the OS leg?
