Anyone tried GWS Micro 2BBMG Servos?

    Anyone used these servos before?

Found a little info on google but not much.
What do you guys think of them?
I am thinking about using one in my 1/10 scale Thunderboat.

probably OK but I run standard size high torque servos in my 1/1o scales. No advantage of the little servo. The extra weight is negligible. I use Hitec 645MG's. The Traxxas waterproof that OSE sells is also OK.

I have a traxxas 2075 also but figured the metal gears in the GWS would hold up better for racing?

Personally I take metal geared with bearings over waterproof. I spend a fair amount of time and money building a boat, the radio gear is the last place I cheap out.
I'm just not impressed with the quality control of the budget Chinese manufacturers.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Yeah I am not concerned about the waterproof part.
i can always spray it with corrosion X or use dielectric grease if needed but they way my boat is setup the servo should not see a drop of water so thats not an issue.

I guess it can't hurt to try out the GWS while testing and see how they go.
I think they should be a good servo as people were comparing them to the hitec-85 which I would obviously rather have but getting some gws in trade so why not try them out.

Still would love to hear any feedback from anyone else who has some.

I run the GWS Micro MG 2BB in my apparition it works great. I was killing the Hitec servos. Went through three of those before using the GWS. One of my buddies that flies planes has a different opinion of GWS. I have had this in my boat for about a year now and no problems.
