Welcome to OSE... Where in NC are your located?

If this is your first boat I would not recommend the Stiletto. It is a awesome boat, but can be difficult to adjust to a new comer with no FE experience. The P1 has it's limitations, I have one and she is slow and steady. If your looking for a good looking "Sunday Driver" with not much speed, she's it. The Shockwave, well to be short just say no to it JMHO.

I would say the PB Miss Geico, new PB Mystic, AQ Motley Crew or a AQ SV27R

i had a aquacraft about a year ago that broke after its first run sent it back to tower hobbies and never looked at that brand again

yes this would be the first boat i would own for more then a day.
i kind of wanted to only run one battery and there is not many choices

i was thinking the king of shaves p1 with the maxamps mulit cell lipo pack

im going to run in lake by my house and in the pond at my neighborhood

Sorry with your luck with AQ, they have awesome products... JMHO.... I am about 15m north of Charlotte in Cornelius on Lake Norman. There are also some guys in the Indian Trail/Matthews area. With the price of one maxamps batt you could prob get 2 or more Gens Ace or Turnigy batts. If you are just gonna cruise around and not do any real mods or not looking for anything overally fast, you could get away with the shockwave, but the esc is garbage and would need replaced asap. The boat is just not worth the price IMHO.....

You ever look at the minicat velocity mono? Takes 1 small battery and is very fun.

i do want something good that is upgradeable if i choose to later on but i also want something that is pretty decent out of the box also

that mini cat is pretty cool but if i take it to the lake it will capsize

i guess i should look into the price of 2 lipos before i make my pick

im in the uncc area of charlotte now we were suppose to close on a house in waxhaw tomorrow with a pond and my dad lives on lake wylie so i can use it anywhere

If you want to upgrade then don't get the shockwave.

Don't worry about the mini cat capsizing... it self rights lol... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ve6uHFEsDlw
