    1/8 hydro 8s-big prop or 10s rpms

    looking for max speed--what is the general recommendation, 8s and a big prop or 10S and more rpm's.

    I support high voltage. For the same power (speed) you will have lower amp draw with 10S. This means more reliability with your setup and longer run times. Win-win.

    You do not have to run high rpm with 10S, it will depend on how the hull reacts to prop diameter. Choose a motor giving around 27-30,000 rpm on the water and prop accordingly.
