    Welcome!!
How big do you want your boat? an upgraded motley crew may be the trick, or an EKOS

I looked at that one! I also kinda had my heart set on that Miss Gieco from Pro Boat? Is that a good one? It seems to go really fast on all those youtube vids but I dont know how reliable. I just want it to go really fast kind of like a racing boat. As for the size i really dont know how big is too big i mean i was thinking like 29" to 36". But i want to do this right from the get go. Get all the stuff i need to.

Stay away from fine design. Take this advise and run.

I got a single drive Apparition from Hobby King and finished it with parts from Fighter Cat and I feel like I have a rockin boat for the money. I can't say enough about Ben at fightercatracing.com He has helped me(also a boat newbie) a ton! Check out his site if you like fast cats!

What's wrong with Fine designs? They seem to have the sickest boats I've seen so far. Feedback anyone?

for the price of the fine design boat you can have a well put together pursuit/ w upgraded esc and motor and get some good lipos. depending how fast you want to go i have read that the titan is a high lift boat and will want to blow over at 50 mph just so you know

Go to www.kintecracing.com and get yourself a Pursuit. If you enjoy making large donations for a boat, go to fine design. They will bend you over every time you drop the soap.

So far, the only cats I've had are a Hydro and Marine Drifter L, King of Shaves (crap), and Apparition. I love them all except the KoS.

Welcome to OSE by the way. Only my KoS was RTR boat and I would not suggest it. I've heard good things about the ProBoat Mystic, however.
