This is the best forum by far. The people are friendly here and don't put each other down. There are disagreements, but it's just that and no one gets personal.
The members here are very helpful and take each question seriously. On other forums, if someone asks a question, some clown will almost always tell them to do a search. If not that, if someone tries to answer the newbies question, some joker will disagree, just to disagree then tell the newbie to do a search. Those people are rude and hide behind their anonymity. Just my rant...

I find that this forum is a great one also, and I do agree with you in regards to some of the other forums out there. Something I have noticed however is that most of the other forums are within an easy keystroke on a google search. I look at those forums as a bit of a filter if you like, if some of the newbs are serious about what they want to do RE: FE boats, then they look further and get to a specialist forum such as this one.
I am constantly reading through the other forums too and where you have stated that everybody says to do a search, in some cases I do agree. It is amazing how frequently the same question comes up week after week and after a while, the more regular posters get a bit sick of coming up with the same replies.
The great thing about the members here, is that everybody has the same goal in a sense and from what I have learn't about this FE boat lark is that everybody is more than happy to share information for the good of the hobby/sport.

I have just recently joined this site, have yet to be able to post an insight on any one topic here (im still relatively new to the FE world always ran petrol in one form or another) an have to say the the level of even headed professionalism an general excitement everyone brings to this forum is a breath of fresh air.
Thanks go to all of you who post your findings an knowledge to help better the hobby. We can all learn from this type of commradery. I hope soon to have some posts of a build I have that is soon to get "wet" for the first time an will most likely come here first for assistance and/or sucess! Look forward to continuing to be a part of this site an hobby.
