Who actually manufactures the Genesis?

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum. My RC experience has been in helicopters and cars/trucks. But recently I have become very interested in fast electric offshore boats (I live across the road from this huge lake!) and decided to order a Genesis from Hobby King. Whether this ends up being a good or bad decision......well, time will tell!

But it's not starting off too well. But right now I already have a problem. I ordered it about two months ago, and they now say that their "supplier" is unable to tell them when they will be delivered. Does anyone know who actually manufacturers the Genesis? Is it TFL Hobby? If anyone has a Genesis, can you tell me are the manufacturers details on the instructions or anywhere?

I would like to try an contact them to find out exactly what is going on.

Put in tflhobby & youll get their site, They have contact details their. This is the thing with Hobby King their customer service isnt that good. If something is on back order you dont know when they will get it in. Martin.

Thank you for your help. Well, you were spot-on regarding Hobby King customer service- rather confirms what I have heard time and time again.

Today I contacted TFLHobby as you said, and very quickly recieved a very nice and helpful e-mail from them telling me that Genesis boats had been shipped to Hobby King on 23rd May. But "interestingly", on 25th May, two days later, I got advised by HK that thay had especially contacted the manufacturer as per my request, and had been told that they (TFL) were unable to give a delivery date. Yeah right.....

For a company that promotes itself on their good customer support - how can it be so poor!
