    Lipo Charging Question

I am borrowing Avanti's Triton2 charger. I have a new set of NEU 2S1p lipos. I also have a pair of astro flight blinki balancers. What I am wondering is if I can charge the 2 battery packs in series, or if this will cause a problem.

The charger is rated for up to 5s.

It's a better idea to charge them one @ a time then balance.

You can do it, if you use the batterys together in the same boat such as 4s1p, or 2s2p. If the application for each pack is differant, the packs will not be ANYWHERE near close enough together on volts to charge in series because of the differant draws of differant boats/setups.

But then you have to balance them out after the charging. Or atleast you should balance them out after charging.

IMO, buy two chargers or charge one at a time. Neu makes nice lipos, and lipos are dangerous. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the info guys. That is how I charged them last night, but I was currious as to weather or not I could do them together. I had my balancer connected while I was charging them, do I need to leave it hooked up after the fact or, do I disconnect the balancer once I am don charging the pack.
