Thanks again for the help the wood ESC mount is just holding the motor up temporarily! Actually the build is more fun then heli's and cars just because it has no directions but if it wasnt for yourself and the forum Id be keeping K&S and Zpoxy in business!

Larry's got a good amount of knowledge building these. Glad you're having fun with it. =)

Looking good. If you do decide to run the stuffing tubes inside the stingers make sure you leave a gap between and shaft and stuffing tube. Some people run them through and some stop them at the transom. Both ways work, but with the seperate shaft style stinger you could easily butt the stuffing tube up against that shaft and cause a lot of drag.
Larry's boat turned out nice so it's nice to see so much of his input here.

I'm building a Daytona twin right now as well. I really like the way this hull is laid out and the room it has. The tunnel is a little narrow but the sponsons have plenty of space for motors and batteries.

What motors and ESCs are you using?

if you run the stuffing tube inside (through the transom)to the end of stingers. you will not be able to adjust the stingers from the rear. usually a inch or so of tube sticking out will be suffice.

            Just my .02 cent worth

For now I have the Seaking 120's and Suppo 1500KV and will start on paralell 3S 5000Mah and I have 4s 5000Mah once I'm sure it runs good. Then move up from there. I figure if I smoke this stuff it's a cheap learning experience as this is my first boat. I think I can run up to 6s on this setup too.

My next build will be the FC Daytona and try to break 80-90mph

I appreciate everyones help and input.

Thanks battle and I agree after getting the motor back I was able to put more of a smooth bend getting the tube flat as it exited the transom and will leave just a small amount out the transom.
