    two unrelated questions

    1. I was out running my roundnose the other day (it died and refuses to work now, I think its the esc) and since I was just testing a new setup, it was the first time I got it up to a reasonable speed. Once I get there, the whole boat bounces about 3 inches out of the water, in a fast motion, this really causes drag when the boat lands and digs into the water again, I tried adjusting the balance both fore and aft, It didnt change much, Is the boat too light? too heavy?
    2. I was rebuilding my tug, and in an attempt to pull a bolt off the threads on the shaft, I (without thinking) grabbed the threads with a pair of pliers, they are now ruined, I don't have a laithe so I cant really rework them, are there any solutions?

You could chase the threads with a die, if you can find the correct size and thread pitch.

I will get video once I figure out the other problems, it is not side to side but just bouncing up and down on the water.

Is it bouncing nose high or straight up and down? If nose high, you need to adjust the strut with some more negative angle to keep the nose down.

Its a subsurface staright shaft, 3600kv on 3S both hobbyking stuff. runnink a K40 3 blade (supervee prop) I`ll try it on the 2 blade (same prop) and see if it calms down.
This boat needs a shaft tear out and replaced with a flex shaft, maybe i`ll get one when i order from OSE for my rigger.
