    AC "new" 1800kv motor ??

Hi guys i just got my new Motley Crew from ose and before i even run it i was planning on taking the motor and esc out and selling them so i could install a T180 esc and probably a typhoon 1800kv outrunner and have a fast reliable 5s setup. Now with that being said my choice of motor is not 100% yet, definatley going with the t180 esc, but still up in the air on the motor, a feigao 9xl is also on my list or might even try one of the new kedas, I do want to run on 5s mostly though.

So i wanted to ask if anyone has run this AC 1800kv on 5s with good results?? I would imagine it could probably handle it just obviously the stock esc wouldn't, can anyone enlighten me on the capabilities of this 1800kv aquacraft motor?? And to interested buyers of this motor its to my understanding it is now "legal" for Namba is this correct?? thanks.

Not sure why you'd replace a good 1800kv motor with a cheap 1800kv motor. Seems counterintuitive to me.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

A 74 mm long motor will probably not fit under the hatch. A shorter/fatter motor like a Leopard 4060 may fit well. I agree, changing motors with the same Kv is a dubious idea, although I suppose if the outrunner runs better on 5S there could be an advantage. A large diameter prop is not a good idea on this hull, better to stick with "normal" diameters and use higher rpm for speed. Why the fixation on 5S?

I agree, why 5s? What do you plan to use the boat for mostly?
