Mine all did using Futaba FM radios. They would not work without one. And I tried every trick in the book. Now the guys using other radio systems were able to make them work. But with the 3PDF and 3PM radios and R133 rx it will not work.

The HiModel 200A ESC is the only one I use & have never used a Pistix. That's with a Futaba 4 channel, a cheap R2 Hobbies 6 channel set & the Hobby King $25.00 24gig unit.
Mind you I only use the 8s version with the BEC. But that shouldn't make any difference.
Never had a problem with any of them.
But with Futaba & Futaba compatible gear you will need to reverse the throttle channel on the TX.
      All the best.
      Paul.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!
