The instructions that I received with this new part are dismal at best. I was luck to have a good sales rep to help me work this out. So before I released it, I will make some new ones up.

I had some issues with getting the programmer to work. But it was my fault. It pays, to pay attention to software installs! I didnt watch the install. During the install the computer will tell you which "com port" the usb programmer uses. I missed this on the first time around. Which I didnt know about. So I ASSumed that it was a hardware issue. Last night I decided to do a new install and noticed. And its now working great. Even on my vista laptop. Kind of works neat, every time you make a change the software automatically saves it to the esc. You know its worked because the motor beeps when done properly.

Hey Steven, it is wonderful to have such illustrious company, in regards to USB programming. I had exactly the same problem that you had with another product. I wish that manual writers were not all tech geeks and give us poor morons a break !!

Are you going to stock the optional programmer? How much it it going to cost? The ESC held the changes? I hear one of the problems with the Hextronic USB programmer was getting the ESC to hold the changes.

Its pretty quick and easy to see if changes have taken place with the xpower. The whole system has to be installed and the motor powered. Not like the castle, which can be programmed as a stand alone piece. The changes took place and stayed. I added and removed the reverse function. Also added and subtracted low voltage cutoff.

I have tested them and had a few other people playing with them. So far so good. The delay is I don't want to release a product that will take a giant amount to tech support. I will put them on the site this week.
