    2028 Motor Questions

    In a typical 45" mono how many amps will a 2028 pull on 10s 4p (aka 4- 5s packs 2 each hooked in parallel x 2) 40c-60c each pack?

Was trying to figure out what esc requirements would be 4 such a setup. Thinking of trading 1 of my full mod zenoahs for the motor and some cash.

you will need a 240hv esc for sure...curt..the big castle has to be capable of 150 plus constant with near 200 spikes...just taking a guess..but the bottom line is a 240hv for this beast...

      I pulled 180a average on a run with my 50" hydro with a Castle 2028 on 9s.

So the consensus is 240 HV. Ok. Well just wanted to get some good out of a favorite older hull I just love, a 46" Twincraft. It is metalflake green/white bottom with a very cool cowl. It is already drilled and setup so would be a nice fall project. Will begin saving coins for the motor and esc. Tnks!!

you are absolutely correct brushless... to make 10s4p would require either (4)10s packs in parallel... or (8) 4s packs... 2 each in series then parallel'd up...

the op's setup is actually 10s2p...
