    SV27 and Ammo 36-40

I have a stock sv27 with a bad motor, and an ammo 36-40 2200 kv motor sitting around, along with a turnigy 60a esc. Will this combo yield at least reasonable performance -- like over 25 mph -- in an sv27?

    Thanks!

Since your not asking for big speed out the SV27 using that setup chances are pretty good you can pull that one off. As long as its not running wet. You would be much better off with a 36-50 or 36-60. Prop as low as you can go, 34-36mm diameter would be nice and dont use more then 4S. Keep us posted!

      thanks.

well i have a 36-74 1800 kv or thereabouts motor too, that i guess would have to work maybe too well, but not with my 60a esc that's just sitting there. but if i have to buy anything to really make it right, i guess it should be a 180a esc for the big motor, and just go that way. the idea with the small motor was to use just what's lying around....
