Boat Sox

With my new found interest in painting I have decided to make some protection for my boats. I picked up a singer hand sewing machine and Boat Sox where born...lol. I'll get better @ it as I make them for all my boats. It's even kinda fun:). I am going to try and do a zipper in the end of the next one. I may make them for members when I am confident they will last. That is the NoStep in there BTW

Awesome.. I know a gentleman that may want to invest in one. If you could get good enough you could make them look like the boat like the NASCAR boys do their car covers. Good luck.

That one took a half hour so far. Its not done. I wouldent even think of selling them until I test them out quite a bit. We will see. I need to learn how to sew in elastic & draw strings with out pulling the stitching out.

Very cool idea You may be on to something Big !! [ Don't quit your day job yet !] however. Here's a suggestion : how'z about using thin neoprene [ like wetsuit material] ; I've seen it used in car seat covers & comes in all sorts of wild patterns. Put a handle on top ? Man, I'd buy a bunch to pack 'em up while traveling to races. Send me a sample & I'll show it around

Thanks Steven. I am going to play with some different typs of fabric and see what I like best. Props...I will need a hefty machine to sew that stuff. I did see something like it @ the store. Shoot me your addy and some dimentions and I'll whip something up for ya .
