    unmatched MAH

I have a specific question. I received a Flitepower 6s 4900 25c battery as a door prize. I already had several Flitepower 2s 5000 25c batt. Can I safely and successfully connect a 4900 to a 5000 in series to obtain 8s? This would be for an S/T mono. Thanks

You CAN safely and successfully connect those two batteries in series. I would NOT do that, as you would be reducing the life of the packs (especially the 6s pack). Your batteries are worth some money, it's best to be good to them.

My packs that are used together in series or in parallel are always and only used with their matched, identical pack. This results in the most cycles out of a pair of batteries, and the fewest puffed packs.
