Try puting a pin on the bow and anchor some balloons out in the pond and race around and pop them. it's harder than it seems.

Can you imagine how crazy it would get with 4 or 5 boats trying to pop some balloons! Sounds like demolition derby time. Hmmm...

I thought how cool it would be to have a game for playstation or wii or xbox, were you could design ur own rc stuff(boat, car, truck, etc...), then drive them, would help alot, I think, with alot of designing
I'm married with children, you can't scare me!

            R-factor hydroplane game google it.

rfactor makes a Hydro game for racing, google rfactor hydroplane racing game its downloadable and it actually has alot of the scale hydros, don`t think it will actually make you a better RC driver but it is pretty cool non the less. my .02

I don't know. I think it's an online game and parts of it are free. If you wanta go PRO there is a cost.

Well, I probably would have had the same problem, except my son did all the downloading and such, it has a free trial that you can play over and over but the whole download has massive view angles/boat choices, scheme choices ,the deal is you can pick almost all if not all of the unlimited & light hydroplanes past and present and drive to courses that are around the world including Qatar, the cost is 39.99 and he paid for it (I`m not sure that I would have as 2 or 3 props sounds better for my $$ but it is a really cool driving experience and has pretty neat graphics and game options, i will have him post some info on download as I have not a clue

That's too bad, 39.99 is beyond the "impulse" budget.
I will try to download the free trial today since my boating session is getting rained out.

Any help with the downloading would be great. Is there an interface for a transmitter to plug into the computer or do you have to drive the boats with the keyboard? I hate the keyboard method.

here is the link to buy a USB interface for a 2-channel transmitter: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/mystery...158?r=36186893
It's $5.94with free shipping, or if you have a rc flight simulator like realflight, or hanger9 FS1, you can use those transmitters. maybe in the next few days i'll put a video on youtube and post the link to it here to show you all of the steps of use.
too much power not in the FE racing dictionary
