It depends on the type of battery. Most likey they are NiCad or NiMh. Your charger ABSOLUTELY has to be compatible with the Chemistry of the battery you want to charge. What charger do you use? -

The T6 is compatible with NiMh. Do you have the adapter to charge them? If there's a requirement to manually enter in your milliamps, in this case 2700, make sure to do that as well. You should be good to go!Comment

If you enter in the Milliamps does it chose your amp rating for you? I've always charged NiMh at between 1-3 amps. Who makes the cells? Do you have photos?Comment

You should be fine. I checked Orion's site for you but didn't find a specific amp rating for those batt's. Keep an eye on them, watch your temps, if they get really hot quickly then stop charging. I've never had any issues charging NiMh packs at above 2amps. Try 1a for now and see how it goes.Comment

Do you know what the biggest problem with the world is?
That the Smartest people are full of doubts while the stupid ones are full of confidence.::tt2Comment

I'm with Mappo on this AA & AAA batteries shouldn't be charged at over 0.5A.
I charge all my AA 2500 NmHi cells at 0.4A.
Charging at higher rates will shorten their life span.
Cheers.
Paul.See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!
