dragon sword mono boat

Hello I just wanted to adk a question from all you experts out there I have the dragon sword boat it has the original brushless motor in it and i have the seaking 60amp esc in it the question is can i go up to 6s lipo with this setup or will it blow something the esc is 6s compatible but not sure about the motor could i connect 2 of my overlander 3s 2200mah batts in series would this work as the boat is running well but just doesnt seem that fast it is very quiet when running as well any help would be much appreciated many thanks

Do not attempt to run 6s on this boat, Stock its a 3s boat, Even 4s will be trouble For the 60amp esc in this boat. It has a 380 motor at 2636kv, On 6s your looking at 58,000 rpm unloaded. On 4s your still looking at 39,000rpm unloaded still way to high for the motor in this boat not to mention the esc. In boats you simply cant take any notice of specs given on esc ratings for lipo counts. Their ratings are for aeroplanes, helicopters & cars where theirs more constant loads put on them & generally not the huge increase in amps that you get in boats for reasons we all know about.
