HK is selling bare hulls now?

HK is getting more and more all the time in the USA warehouse. They had a 1 cent shipping at one time. Several guys in our club bought a boat (don't remember the name but a nice 33" or so mono), hull and hardware for like $169 or something and a penny shipping. It was a heck of a deal!

It was this one but I don't see them in the US warehouse right now:

It's a great running hull by the way with nice hardware.

Well there goes FighterCat's business!

I've purchased 4 different hulls from FighterCat, all of which have been very nice. Nicer than a lot of the hulls I have received from more expensive manufacturers. FC's prices are also lower than HK, and shipping is quicker. I've spent weeks waiting to get items from HK, even from the USA warehouse. There's also the quality issue: you never know what youre getting from HK.

Anyone who gave their business to HK instead of FC would be a fool in my opinion. If you want something FC doesn't offer, thats understandable...but why would anyone pay more money for a lesser product/service?

In the end, Fightercat and other US vendors will survive because we can offer reasonable shipping, good communication, and good customer service. Try getting ANY of that out of Hobbyking!

Personally I will not buy from hk again.I purchased an esc from them and it was defective,so I sent it back.That was almost 3 months ago and they keep giving me the run around."We have to do this and that before refund given".3 months to check an esc;thats a bunch of bull.So be careful..............

If you get something defective from HK, you may as well just eat it. Trying to get a resolution from them is a nightmare. If you want to buy cheap, you gotta pay the price. I have gotten the same runaround even from Hobbypartz which is in the U.S. It took three weeks to get an RMA from them after a bunch of very pointed emails to them!

Plus the Yellow pursuit paint cracks over time. I'd rather have a white gelcoat.
