    Y Harness For 2 Lipos?

Just got an MG. ESC has two leads, lipos have four leads...

Can't slove this equation with two unknowns... am I supposed to have a Y harness to run dual lipos?

Don't knock me, I'm just getting back into the hobby after five years of Naval service.

Thanks, I appreciate it! It's great to be back in the RC trend! Series w/ 5.5mm Bullets. Prolly just have to go to my LHS and solder up a Y harness.

No harnes needed plug black from one batt to black on esc, plug red from other batt to red on esc , lastly plug your remaining red and black wires from your 2 batt together it is now in series. Just learned this myself.

You are using 2 2s to make 4s?
          Also thanks for your service.

if you follow what jabbo said you don't need a y-harness just plug one plug from each battery into the opposite plug on the other battery then plug the 2 leftover ends into your esc.

Thanks Bro! That's what I figured but I was a little skepticle about joining both batts by their own wires. So I figured to be sae and ask on here!

For sure! I've been running the same as you, I also have a 5s 5000 setup. Can't wait to try out the m445, just ran the x642 today.

I saved this from the referenced thread back when I converted to 5.5mm connectors. It's great but you have to really pay attention when you plug stuff up. If you don't, it will "snap you to" in a hurry.
