Tenshock Motor

Hello everyone, just a quick question!!

I have been looking at the Tenshock motors for my RC Boat which i hear are very good, but im not sure which model to go for, have you any idea with my setup?

180 AMP Water-cooled Electronic Speed Controller.
2 X 11.1 Volt 35C LIPO BATTERIES (5000mah) & series link lead for 22.2 VOLTS in a Apparition Catamaran 32"

The Factory motor that came out of it was approx 38mm Dim X 60mm long so i am looking for something around those sizes, many thanks for your help..

You want a Tenshock 2240 motor which is also 38mm diam, Probably around 1500-1600kv on 6s. Tenshock motors are not that easy to get as they use to be in the UK especially if you want a particular kv as most that use the 2240 motors run them on 4s so around 2500kv in Mono 2 class boats. Youll get a lot more choice & availability in Leopard motors which are also a lot cheaper than Tenshock. Martin.

The Tenshock VIPER motors are all that is currently available. They are the sport line. In June, the new CZII series will come out. They replace the former CZI motors. They are the hot dog competition motors. Keep checking with your UK supplier. We don't carry many of their motors here in the states.

The problem with Tenshock stuff in the UK is the distributors change & none seem to stock much at all. Except for whatever the distributors are into themselves, So if you say want a diff kv from say what they would use in mono 1 or 2 boats they wont have anything & its a special order generally. You best bet is probabally the place in Germany . Martin.
