Looking to gather some info thinking of building a scale boat for racing. Want to keep it middle of the road and not all high end but want to be competitive.Which motor battery an ESC would you guys recommend? Also looking for a round nose for hull,looking to build one was thinking a Zipp kit but open to suggestions. Thanks Jerry

Jerry, first you ought to know that the zipp kit is not an 1/8 scale... with that being said, look into a 8s power with a scorpion 4035/800 system is an affordable and competitve combo. ESCs vary... if you are going to race make sure that you can use whatever you buy with you Club.
