mono rudder depth

last mono i built i think the rudder was a little to high what is proper rudder depth

I tend to mount mine pretty low, this give me some room to play around with trimming or changing the shape of the bottom of the rudder.
Suppose I could mount them higher and use a longer rudder blade to the same effect.

i can go 2 3/8 to 2 3/4 from bottom of keel
